In 1974 the frame was totally hand fabricated. Coffin style gas tank also hand fabricated. All the welds were filled and smoothed. The frame is so perfect it looks like it was pulled from a mold. Then as time goes on Donnie Wix gets his creative hands on the frame and tank. He has it all painted "Metallic Snake Skin Viper Green". It sat around for a while until he sold it to his brother Tim along with a running 1975 Kawasaki Z1 900 engine. Tim added the wheels, handlebars, risers and mounted the Z1 900 motor to the frame. Bike was almost complete except for the wiring. He then sold the bike back to Donnie who then enters the bike in a show in Murfreesboro, Tn. Come to find out that what he was the only bike that showed up. He had to be judged with all the cars since he was the only bike there. But that turned out just fine because the bike still placed 3rd overall.
Donnie Wix of Gallatin, Tn. is the current owner of this sweet stretched and smoothed Metric powered Chopper.
