On this page is a 1999 Camaro SS Artic White, Neutral leather interior powered by aLS1 350 6-Speed. Came from the Factory with: Comes from the General with 320 horsepower, 3:42 Torsen positraction rear, SLP 3" Cat back exhaust, 17" ZR1 style aluminum wheels, P245 17" Goodyear tires, Aluminum driveshaft. Number 182 built of the 1999 SS Camaro production. One of about 12 SS Camaros that year that were made as Artic White 6 speeds. It was the Number 162 1999 Camaro off the main line-it must have sat at SLP for a while waiting to be made into an SS. (Who cares?- probably only me!) Car has every available Chevrolet option for that year for SS cars.
What's been done to it: Improvements made to the car so far: LS1 Motorsports Air induction lid, (sealed to the SS hoodscoop), K&N airfilter, B&M shift mechanism, Big 'ol Hurst White shift ball -(so tacky, I love it!) All synthetic fluids in car. Performance Friction brakes. Thanks to LS1.com: "Free Ram Air", !EGR mod, "Drilled Clutch Slave Cylinder line mod", ported MAF mod. Skip Shift Eliminator. Favorite mod: XM satellite radio receiver with all new Polk speakers. Commercial radio can bite me! It is a "go to work" car- it doesn't go to the mall! I think this one will be a keeper, too. It's going right next to the '55. I'm gonna save it for the next guy!
